WITH BOLT ASSESSMENT INSIDE ANSYS ACCORDING TO VDI 2230 GUIDELINES

Developed by CADFEM and partners and directly integrated into Ansys Workbench, the CADFEM Ansys Extensions selectively extend the functional range of Ansys. With Bolt Assessment inside Ansys you can evaluate all load cases and find critical loads in bolted joints. Calculation and verification is automated, fast and comfortable according to VDI 2230.

Automated verification for bolts according to VDI 2230, Part 1 and 2

Integrated into mechanical GUI, which makes very easy to verify bolts according to VDI guidelines

Support of model class II (beam elements) and model class III (solids)

Class II is for modelling bolts as beam elements. Class III is to model bolts as solids.

Direct access to the KISSsoft bolt library

Beautifully integrated with KISSsoft library to access wide variety of bolt data.

Determination of safety factors for static and dynamic strength verification

Multiple safety factor varification like thread shear, sliding and exceeding the surface pressure can be verified

Visualization of the critical bolts for all safety factors

All post precessing can be done inside mechanical GUI itself.

Generation of a calculation report for every bolt

Report can be generated for every bolt in different formats to our requirement.
